You must read these Terms and Conditions and make sure that you understand them as, by registering to set up an account on the portal (the “Tribepad Portal”), you will be deemed to have done so.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, references to “Us/us”; “Our/our” are references to Weaver Vale Housing Trust

References throughout these Terms and Conditions to “You/you” and “Your/your” are references to a user of an account on our Tribepad Portal

GDPR & Data Protection
By continuing and submitting your application, you agree to the following:

  1. You are responsible for security and privacy of your account specifically for creating a suitably strong and secure password; keeping it safe; and not sharing your account information with any third party;
  2. You will ensure that all information you provide to us is up-to-date; accurate; and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes; and
  3. You understand that providing misleading or false information may result in your offer of employment being withdrawn OR, if appointed, may result in your dismissal.

It is assumed that the applicant agrees to the processing of sensitive personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (‘GDPR’) and Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

In the event that the Tribepad Portal contains links to third party websites, Weaver Vale Housing Trust are not responsible for the content; policies; or practices of those third parties or for their services. It is your responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions and privacy policies for those third-party websites before using them.

Intellectual Property
The Tribepad Portal contains content which is the property of Weaver Vale Housing Trust. This includes, but is not limited to, images; text; logos; documents; and downloadable files. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as Weaver Vale Housing Trust granting any rights or licence to use such content in any way and for any purpose unless directed or instructed otherwise.

Disclaimer and liability
Whilst every care has been taken when compiling the information on the Tribepad Portal, Weaver Vale Housing Trust does not provide any representations; warranties; or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content is accurate; complete; up-to-date; or free from bugs or viruses.

Weaver Vale Housing Trust will not be liable for any loss; damage; or inconvenience caused as a result of the use; suspension; interruption; or temporary unavailability of the Tribepad Portal to the extent that liability can be limited by law.  While we will endeavour to ensure the Tribepad Portal is available 24 hours a day, we shall not be liable if, for any reason, the Tribepad Portal is unavailable at any time, for any period.

Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using the Tribepad Portal, you indemnify Weaver Vale Housing Trust, including its directors; officers; agents; employees; subsidiaries; and affiliates, against any actions; claims; losses; damages; liabilities; and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Tribepad Portal or your breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

Termination
Weaver Vale Housing Trust reserves the right, in our absolute discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of the Tribepad Portal without notice. Upon such termination, or suspension, you will be denied access to any information or files you have stored on the Tribepad Portal.

Governance
The failure of either you or us to exercise, in any respect, any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate or the way we expect users to behave when using the Tribepad Portal. In the event of any changes a notice will be placed on the Tribepad Portal.
